CARDET is delighted to be among the proud supporters of the Cyprus Football Camp organised by the Global Sports Division in Cyprus.

The four-day Camp (May 30th – June 2nd) brought together more than fifty talented young football players who aspired to secure a Sports Scholarship and join the Premier University Sports Association.

The Camp was a unique experience for the TACKLE project to talk to young football players and coaches about acceptance, tolerance, and respect in sports and society. In addition, we could present the actions and tools we developed through the TACKLE project as a mean to combat discrimination in sports and involve them in practical activities.

It was impressive that the young players and coaches showed a keen interest and actively shared their views and experiences. This is the kind of engagement and dialogue we aim for raising awareness and fostering positive change towards a more inclusive and accepting sporting environment.

Finally, CARDET also had the opportunity to spread awareness of the TACKLE project to a larger audience by communicating the main messages of the project via a live link.
